MCA Lead Extraction — Automated Court Records to Daily Leads

Overview

An automated lead pipeline that turns public court filings into a daily book of qualified MCA leads across two states. In New York it works county by county, extracting cases from each county's court site and building a separate Excel file per county. In Florida it goes through Docket Alarm instead, searching against a maintained list of plaintiffs, with the rest of the process identical.

Reading the filings is the part that needed judgement rather than pattern matching: the OpenAI API extracts the lead's details out of the summons and its supporting documents, where the information sits in prose rather than in fields. Each extracted lead is then enriched with verified mobile and email contacts through AccurateAppend and Enformion, checked for consistency, and written back to a PostgreSQL store that exists specifically so the same lead is never extracted or sold twice.

A dashboard with user management sits over the whole thing, and a scheduler drives the runs — pending jobs are picked up by a pool of workers running in parallel, so a day's counties finish in the window rather than in sequence. The finished Excel files go out to the client by email every day.

Outcome

A day's court filings across New York's counties and Florida's dockets arrive as enriched, deduplicated Excel files in the client's inbox each morning — cutting manual case review by over 80% and improving contact accuracy for the outreach that follows.
